Just a typical Friday night in Baku
Lebanese food, flaming knife throwers, belly dancers, Russian karaoke in a gay bar, finishing up among snaggle-toothed rig monkeys in an over-lit Irish pub.

Only the most careful observer would notice. It bears little resemblance to old favorites such as "the Man Hole" or "the Box," so don't go buying your ticket to Baku in anticipation of discovering the next Castro.
I am a careful observer and I've noticed nothing of the sort. And it sure isn't in my guidebook.
